Lolita, Slave to Entertainment: 1pm-2pm

This documentary follows the life of Lolita a 37 year old performing killer whale at the Miami Sequarium.   Lolita forces us to take a look at the dark secrets of the muti-billion dollar aquarium industry and question human ethics in relationship to animals in entertainment.

Earthlings: 2:15pm-3:50pm

Narrated by Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix, Earthlings is the most comprehensive documentary ever produced on the correlation between nature, animals and human economic interests.

“Of all the films I have ever made, this is the one that gets people talking the most,” said Phoenix. “For every one person who sees Earthlings, they will tell three.”
